ECCO Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Marshall as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Group from January, 1 2010. Taking over the role of CEO from Ed Zimmer, who retired in October this year, Chris will be moving out to the Group’s headquarters in Boise, Idaho in the near future. Chris Marshall explained, “This is a very exciting move for both myself and my family...and I’m delighted that I have been given this opportunity." View Press Release

Ed Zimmer, CEO of the ECCO Group has announced his retirement. “I have very mixed emotions. I will miss my many friends in the company and in the industry, but I am very excited to focus on my family, friends and, somewhere in the future, new interests”, Zimmer said. Zimmer joined the company in 1985 as Marketing Manager, and became VP of Sales and Marketing in 1988. In 1993, he became President, and was appointed CEO in 1998.
